Maxim Sharipov, 18 y.o.
Maxim’s mother died when he was four, and his father, an alcoholic, neglected his son. From grades 1 through 9, Maxim stayed at a boarding school, and then entered a vocational school to become a carpenter in the construction industry. After the vocational school, he tried many jobs, but his employment was brief. Since the contractors often cheated him out of his wages, he could not pay rent to get his own place to stay. It is possible that the employers ignored his rights because he has a slow tempo of thinking, and not everyone is patient enough to wait for a response from him when talking with him. To date, Maxim is living at the Center and has a courier job with a local company. He has become more sociable, and regularly attends services at a local church. He is a hard-working young man, always willing to help, fair, solid and dependable. In the future, he would like to be a businessman. |
